Hello! I'm Patricia Martinez, a dance instructor at Pachamama Peruvian Arts, and I am thrilled to share the highlights of our recent milestone celebration. On Friday, June 21, 2024, we marked 20 years of fostering Peruvian cultural heritage in the United States with a spectacular event showcasing the talents of our dedicated students. Here are a few photos and video of my students capturing the energy, grace, and joy of their performance:

Teaching Peruvian dance at Pachamama Peruvian Arts is a deeply fulfilling experience. Our school is more than just a place to learn dance; it's a vibrant community where traditions come alive, and cultural pride is nurtured. Over the past two decades, we have grown into a beacon for those wanting to connect with their roots, offering classes and workshops that celebrate the rich heritage of Ayacucho, Peru.

Each dance lesson is a journey through history and tradition. I take immense pride in seeing my students embrace the dances of their ancestors, understanding the stories behind each step, and expressing their cultural identity with passion and precision. Our 20th-anniversary celebration was a testament to their hard work and the enduring spirit of Peruvian dance.
Join us as we continue this beautiful journey, preserving and sharing the vibrant traditions of Peru with the world. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a newcomer eager to learn, Pachamama Peruvian Arts welcomes you to be a part of our story. Here's to many more years of dance, culture, and community!
